Cycladic Forms

My other passion in life is my garden and the natural world. These pots are an amalgamation of pitcher plant forms, tulips and arum lilies. Coming to a vanishing point makes them difficult to fire and to glaze and I have had to develop specialised processes to get the desire result. Even now the success rate is less than 50%. These pots are supplied with museum wax to keep them upright.

Shipping these forms by courier required me to make a bespoke wooden travel case which supports the pot and the base, which, being solid wood, is both heavy and necessary to add stability to the item when displayed. This will take up to a week from order date. The cost of shipping by courier for Cycladic forms reflects the cost of this bespoke packaging.

Potters seal

Each of these pieces is a one off art form. As such, each Cycladic form carries my potter’s seal embedded in the base.
